No Swollen Gums If There Are No Food Residues Stuck In Between Teeth And Gums
In the early stage of gum disease called gingivitis, there is the manifestation of bleeding and swollen gums. At this stage, the bone structure surrounding the teeth is not yet compromised. However if one continues to have poor dental care habits, early gum disease may advance to severe and serious gum disease, paving way for bacteria to begin attacking the underlying structures and bone around the teeth, encountering tooth loss. Keeping the surfaces of the teeth clean can help prevent swollen gums and gum irritation. Make sure that you do not allow any food debris to get stuck in between teeth and gums and practice proper brushing and flossing every after meal.
