The dermis - the vertical structure of the skin

The dermis is composed of collagen fiber network intertwined bundles. These ensure that our skin remains tight and stretchy. Between the collagen hyaluronic acid cells is stored. It increases the water retention capacity of the skin and lets us look fresher. The dermis contains blood vessels and nerves. Thus supplies the epidermis, which itself contains no vessels and thus the cell regeneration. She is also the sweat and sebaceous glands production.
